What's good Youtube fam...this is my first music production for 2012 as promised. Before I say anything else let me clarify that I have no affiliation with Korg or it's advertising, (no kickbacks) so what I say is my unbiased opinion. The microStation: First impressions...this unit is off the chain. Lightweight, lush & dynamic sound quality w/ plenty of sound sets to work from. The keys are small but are easy to adapt to and have a nice feel for play. Real time sound editing is on board and comes bundled w/software to streamline your deep editing. Allows for VST plug-in to many DAW's. The full featured 16-track sequencer functions and on-board menu are very easy to dig through. The loop function can be configured any way you want to speed your work flow. I didn't need to pop in the CD manual to figure out the key functions to do this first production. Very straight forward overall layout of interface. My Production: 1. Produced all 13 tracks in this video directly on the Korg. All sounds from the Korg. Reason being is that I wanted to demonstrate the capability of this machine standalone without using a DAW or other samples. 2. Once I finished the beat, I recorded it directly VIA anolog to my Boss BR-600. The only tweaking I did on the Boss was add a few db+ of reverb and bumped up the treble to make it CRISP!!! 3. Exported to my laptop as a WAV 4. Loaded in Roxio Creator 2012 along with Video footage for editing final production. That's it. So please check me out and let ...
